FAQ for Buyers

Note: *AurovilleArts.com’s Paypal payments are made via Caesium Inc.

1.How to Buy / What happens

To purchase an item simply click on the “Buy” button below the painting and proceed to check out. You will be asked to register by filling in the form.
Through the email ID provided you will receive a notification of the items you ordered. Their status of your purchase is: Pending
You will then receive a conformation of the items that are available and in good condition. The status of your purchase is: Available
You may now proceed to the payment option, by logging in at “Buyers Login” and going to the “orders on hold” tab, here you can proceed to payment or delete your order.
Your payment options are (*Paypal, Credit Card or by personal **Cheque). Fill in the details and select Continue. Once your payment has been made the status of your purchase is: Finished and your item is packed and sent.
We arrange the packaging, insuring and shipping of the item(s).
You will receive emails confirming the steps and will be able to track your parcel online with the tracking number provided.

**If you choose to pay by Cheque (Please wait a minimum of 2 weeks till your check arrives and clears.)

2.Shipping
We use international couriers for speed and control. You will be able to track your package online with the tracking number we provide on the invoice.
You should receive your item approximately within 7 days after shipping. (Depending upon where you are in the world).
3. Canceling an item
You may cancel an item from your shopping cart by viewing your shopping cart and checking the box to the left and selecting delete.
Deleting a confirmed Order.
Login at the “Buyers Login” select the tab “Orders on Hold”. Check the box on the left and click the delete button this will make the item available for sale again.
4. Pending Items

Once we have confirmed an item via email you have 6 working days to proceed to payment, after that the items will be put on sale again.

If you have completed the payment option but want to cancel your order please write to the webmaster within 3 days.

5. It’s Unavailable (The art work I chose is not available)
While AurovilleArts.Com endeavors to list available items we cannot be held responsible for listing items that have become unavailable or damaged over time, (besides our goal is to encourage artists to sell their work by any means possible, therefore it may occur that a listed item has been sold (or damaged) before we could update the site, in which case you will be informed via email that the item is unavailable and your payment will not be processed.
6.Why the “Display only” ?
Items for “Display only” have been previously sold. We display such work to allow viewers to see a larger range of work, which may also encourage commissions for the artist, by contacting us.
7.Payment Methods
You may purchase items by Paypal (account needed), Credit Card, or Bank Cheque. (For Cheques shipping is made after receipt and clearance of the cheque).

8.Secure Guarantee
The information you disclose will not be given/ sold or traded to any third party other than for the designated use and as required by the law.
Your payment information is made secure through Paypal.
9.Returns:
After receiving an item, if its not what you wanted, you have seven days to contact AurovilleArts.com, by email or telephone (9AM-4PM Monday-Friday) for a full refund of the item, minus the shipping costs.
Please ensure that the package is well packed (as per courier instructions) and is insured for the full amount. If the sender fails to insure the package and an item is damaged the sender will be fully responsible to pay the cost of the item.
After seven days of receipt you will not be eligible for a refund.
10.Damaged Items:
If your parcel arrives damaged or broken refuse receipt of the parcel. If you have received an item that has been damaged or broken call the same courier company to schedule a return.
